Art Wall 2016

Commissioned Public Mural

This work was created in 2016 as a commissioned public mural for the Coney Island Art Walls, a curated seasonal program that invited contemporary artists to produce large-scale works along the Coney Island boardwalk. Executed at a monumental scale of approximately 25 feet wide by 12 feet tall, the piece was conceived specifically for an open, outdoor public environment.

Installed on site for the duration of the program, the mural functioned as a visual landmark, using color, pattern, and abstraction to engage pedestrians and visitors outside of a traditional gallery setting.
